This one, exactly as written:

https://jellyfin.verygay.org

Include the https://, don't add a port number, and don't put a slash on the end. If an app says it can't find the server, it's almost always a typo here.

Two ways, depending on what you're holding:

• Phone, tablet, laptop: go to jellyfin.verygay.org (or open the Jellyfin app) and use the Sign in with Okta button.
• Apple TV, Fire Stick, Android TV: those apps can't do the Okta pop-up, so they use a Quick Connect code instead. It takes about 20 seconds — steps are below.

1. On the Apple TV, open the App Store, search for Swiftfin, and install it.
2. Open Swiftfin and choose Add Server. Type in https://jellyfin.verygay.org and connect.
3. On the sign-in screen, pick Quick Connect. A six-digit code appears on the TV.
4. Grab your phone or laptop, go to jellyfin.verygay.org, and sign in with Okta.
5. Tap your profile picture in the top right → Quick Connect, punch in the six digits, and hit Authorize.
6. The TV signs itself in. You're done — it stays signed in, so you only do this once.

Swiftfin needs tvOS 26 or newer. If your Apple TV won't update that far, use Infuse instead — add the same server address and sign in there.

1. Open the app store on the device (Google Play, or the Amazon Appstore on a Fire Stick) and install Jellyfin.
2. Open it. If it doesn't find the server on its own, choose Add Server and enter https://jellyfin.verygay.org.
3. On the user list, choose Sign in with Quick Connect. A six-digit code appears.
4. On your phone or laptop, sign in at jellyfin.verygay.org, go to profile picture → Quick Connect, enter the code and Authorize.
5. That's it. The TV remembers you from now on.

iPhone or iPad: install Jellyfin Mobile, open it, enter https://jellyfin.verygay.org, then tap Sign in with Okta and log in like normal.

Android: install Jellyfin from the Play Store, enter the same address, and sign in with Okta.

Prefer Swiftfin on your iPhone? It's a nicer player but it can't do the Okta screen — set it up with a Quick Connect code, exactly like the Apple TV steps above.

TV apps can't show the Okta sign-in page, and nobody wants to peck out a password with a remote. So instead the TV shows a six-digit code, and you approve it from a device that is already signed in.

The code is good for a couple of minutes and for one device only. If it expires, back out and ask the TV for a fresh one.

Don't approve a code you didn't just make appear on your own screen. That's how someone else gets into the library.

Please do — that's the whole point. Head to requests.verygay.org, search for what you want, and hit request. Most things show up within a few hours, sometimes minutes.

Whole series are fine. Things still in theaters will have to wait.

Heads up: requests is on its own log-in for now — your Okta account won't get you in yet. Just ask and you'll be set up in a minute.

Yes, on phones and tablets. Open a movie or episode and tap the download arrow — it saves to the app and plays with no internet. Download before you leave the house, not in the airport.

TV apps don't do downloads, which is fine, because your Fire Stick isn't going anywhere.

• Check the quality setting in the player — if it got knocked down to something low it'll look soft. Set it back to Auto or Maximum.
• On wi-fi, get closer to the router or switch to the 5GHz network. 4K files are chunky.
• Close the app fully and reopen it. Fixes more than it has any right to.
• Still bad? Give me a shout and say which movie and which device — that's usually enough to spot it.

While something is playing, open the player controls and look for the speech-bubble or gear icon. Subtitles and alternate audio tracks live there.

If a title has no subtitles at all, let me know — they can usually be added.

Nope. Friends and family only, and everyone gets their own account so watch history and resume points don't collide.

If you want to add someone, just ask and I'll get them set up properly. It takes two minutes.

Missing episodes and wrong artwork are usually a quick fix, so it's always worth mentioning.
